CELEBRATE AUTUMN’S BOUNTY...
at the WINE & HARVEST FESTIVAL
SEPTEMBER 20 & 21, 2008

Experience a feast for the senses in Historic Cedarburg, Wisconsin during the Wine & Harvest Festival, Saturday, September 20 from 10-6 & Sunday, September 21 from 10-5.

Inhale the fragrant bouquet of an award-winning wine from Cedar Creek Winery.

Tempting foods tantalize with a harvest flavor, featuring steamed corn, caramel apples, exquisite caramel apple and cherry crepes, kettle corn, apple cider, turkey legs, brats, burgers and savory seasonal delights in Food Courts all over town.

The Farmer’s Market is chock full of wonderful seasonal fruits and vegetables, flowers and plants, herbs and many varieties of apples. The Marketplace will provide Wisconsin Agricultural Products such as dried fruits, honey, syrup, cheese, sausage, hot sauce and jams and jellies.


At Cedar Creek Winery’s booths you can buy wine by the glass. The Winery’s slippery, squishy Great Grape Stomp has always been a crowd-pleaser, and this year’s events on Saturday and Sunday include the Kids Stomp at 1:00 & 3:00 and the Adults Stomp at 2:00 & 4:00 at Cedar Creek Settlement.


Live Music all over town will spotlight Top Forty, Bluegrass, Folk and Rock & Roll bands, including Bobby Way & Wayout, Pike Creek, Rabid Aardvarks, Dante’s Bop, Roadmasters and more.

The Scarecrow Contest is a colorful favorite, these whimsical straw-stuffed characters will be all over the Historic District.

Washington Avenue will be closed to traffic, so the best way to see them is on a shuttle Hayride.

The 4th Annual Bike For Wisconsin event on Sunday from 7am-2pm offers 16, 30 or 62 mile routes www.bfw.org.


Shoppers will love Arts On The Avenue featuring the Cedarburg Garden Club, the Cedarburg Cultural Center, Ozaukee Art Center and the Festival Marketplace as well as the many beautiful and unique shops located throughout Historic Cedarburg.

The Cedarburg Artist Guild will be showcasing their annual Fall Show and then stroll through theWisconsin Museum of Quilts and Fiber Arts grounds.

Cedar Creek Settlement sponsors the Ready…Aim…Fire Grape Spitting Competition at 2:15, the Wet & Wild Apple Bob at 3:30 and the Scarecrow Sculpture Garden with Come-To-Life-Scarecrows daily.

The festival’s Kids Corner encompasses a variety of activities geared for children.
