It's Festival Time at Cedar Creek
Settlement!
 Cedar
Creek Settlement is a major focal point for the three exciting
festivals held annually in Cedarburg's Historic District. The
Festival year kicks off the first weekend of February with the
Winter Festival.Events at the Settlement include the infamous
Bed Races on Ice, as well as barrel racing for kids. This two-day
event also includes an ice sculpture contest, pancake breakfast,
sock hop and lots more! When you're not watching the events,
come inside for great shopping, wine tasting or a meal in one
of our restaurants.
Next up on the festival agenda
is Cedarburg's Strawberry Festival, held the fourth weekend of
June. Of course the strawberry is the guest of honor during this
summer event, turning up in all sorts of places. Aside from delicious
locally grown strawberries available by the pint, quart or gallon,
there are strawberry shortcakes, sundaes and slushes. A favorite
of the festival is the Settlement's beer and brat cookout held
on the banks of Cedar Creek and also featuring lively entertainment.
There are lots of contests for the kids, and even a pet fashion
show. There are also an art show and a great Country Craft show
held elsewhere in the city.
 The
historic City of Cedarburg invites all of you to come enjoy 2
days of festivities to celebrate the German Heritage of our small
town. We have numerous German music and performance groups for
your entertainment while you enjoy some great German Cuisine.
Plenty of games have been planned throughout the day and a large
scale sheepshead tournament will be the highlight of the weekend

 The
Festival that started it all is the annual Wine and Harvest Festival
hele the third weekend in September. Just as Summer is giving
way to a luscious Wisconsin Autumn, thousands of folks come to
Cedarburg to celebrate the grape and the harvest. The main event
at the Settlement is the grape stomping contest, where contestants
vie for the best costumes and the most juice. Lots of live entertainment,
apple bobbing, our famous brats and of course Wisconsin's best
wine make Cedar Creek Settlement the place to be during this fantastic
Fall frolic!
Our last big shindig of the year is really
six shindigs! We call it Festive Friday Eves.  You
guessed it...special events occur each of the six Fridays before
Christmas. All our shops stay open til 9 p.m. and there are refreshments
and entertainment and a different theme each night. The first
Festive Friday is always an ethnic celebration, with a different
country being featured each year. Themes for the other Fridays
include "Home for the Holidays," "An Evening with
Santa," "Last Minute Gift Ideas," the Spirit of
Christmas" and "Christmas in the Country," Cedarburg's
premier Christmas folk art sale held right here at Cedar Creek
