JOIN US FOR WINE AND HARVEST FESTIVAL SEPTEMBER 15-16, 2007
Come visit Cedar
Creek Settlement during the Wine & Harvest Festival, in Historic Cedarburg,
WI September 15th & 16th from 10-6 Saturday and 11-5 Sunday. Try an
award-winning wine from Cedar Creek Winery, nestled in the Settlement’s
collection of old stone buildings built in 1864. Tempting foods tantalize
with a harvest flavor, featuring, caramel apple and cherry crepes, brats,
burgers and more at the Settlement’s Courtyard Grill. Cedar Creek Winery,
located in Cedar Creek Settlement, launched Wine & Harvest Festival
34 years ago and is the place to buy their wine by the glass or by the
case. Cedar Creek’s Cranberry Blush, Cedar Creek Riesling, Waterfall
Mist and Cedar Creek Vidal are just a few of their popular wines. The Winery’s
slippery, squishy Great Grape Stomp has always been a
crowd-pleaser, and the events will feature participants competing for
prizes. The Kids Stomp is at 1:00 and 3:00 and the Adults Stomp is at
2:00 and 4:00 both Saturday and Sunday. The Settlement is the place for live music: three favorite Milwaukee bands will appear on the Cedar Creek Settlement Main Stage. You can catch Incognito on Saturday, Noon-4:00 p.m., followed by the Mary del Rae Duo, 4:00-6:00. The fabulous show band Bobby Way & Wayouts, will play Sunday, Noon-4:00 p.m.
Returning this
year is the Settlement Scarecrow Sculpture Garden, featuring
Come-To-Life Scarecrows hidden amid the clever scarecrows designed and
built by Settlement merchants. Cedar Creek Settlement
is home to 27 shops and restaurants, featuring antiques, fine art, pottery,
jewelry, clothing and unique gift and specialty items. Come celebrate
with us at Cedar Creek Settlement, on the banks of Cedar Creek at the
corner of Bridge Street & Washington Avenue in Historic Cedarburg,
just 20 minutes north of Milwaukee off I-43, exit 89.
