Christmas in the Country, celebrating its thirty-fifth year of excellence
invites you to come, enjoy and shop wonderful works of art at this quality
show! Watercolor paintings, fabulous handcrafted jewelry, hats, and
handbags, wearable art, ornaments, teddy bears, wood carvings, dolls,
painted shoes, scarves and mittens, Santa sculptures, holiday florals
and wreaths, candles, sachets and more! are displayed among the wine
casks and and antique quilts. In the Christmas Kitchen discover homemade
fudge, caramels and toffee, honey, homegrown popcorn, try tasty dips,
and coffees, among other taste tempters. Over twenty new artists are
featured this year! Complimentary tea and cookies are served throughout
the show.
Christmas in the Country has elected two new directors: Eva Danner,
Grafton, and Ann Marie Craig, West Bend. Eva is part of the Wollersheim
Winery Family, and her husband Steve is the general manager of the Cedar
Creek Winery at the Cedar Creek Settlement. Ann Marie Craig is a handcrafted
soap maker and founder of Century Farmhouse® Handcrafted Artisan
Herbal Soaps of West Bend, and has been an exhibitor at Christmas in
the Country for many years. Most recently she has been named “Woman
Entrepreneur 2008 “by Country Living Magazine. Luella Doss and
Mary Quisno continue to serve as directors.
