The Anvil Pub & Grille: Nestled in the Settlement’s restored 19th Century blacksmith shop, the charmingly authentic Anvil Pub & Grille will be a Cedarburg favorite for casual dining in a rustic atmosphere with a Stone Hearth Oven. The lovely creekside patio offers seasonal dining overlooking the Cedar Creek Waterfall. The restaurant will offer American cuisine for lunch and dinner. The full bar will serve specialty beers, wine, cocktails and a Bloody Mary Bar during Sunday Brunch. Hours: Mon-Sat. 11-10, Sun. 11-5. Seasonal outdoor dining. Non-smoking. *New from Artist Susan Lordi, The Christmas Story…The two piece set of Mary holding baby Jesus, with Joseph, are the centerpiece of The Christmas Story. The figures are nearly 15” tall and painted with richly layered colors. These figures mark a shift in scale and coloration for Willow Tree. The elegant movement of Mary’s and Joseph’s garments and their beautifully protective gestures bring this composition to the highest levels of sculptural art to adorn homes or churches. This beautiful set can be found at Bierma Gallery located on the 2nd Floor of Cedar Creek Settlement.

Cedar Creek Winery: Cedar Creek Winery is proud to introduce our Hillside Red, our first estate-grown red. We are very pleased that it turned out exactly the way we were hoping. Hillside Red is made of Foch grapes, grown near our vineyard by three close friends. The grapes are crushed, de-stemmed, fermented on the skins for 14 days and then pressed. During fermentation, all the tannins (red pigmentation) are extracted. The wine is now aging in our Cedar Creek cellar in Minnesota oak barrels. Hillside Red is a full-bodied, elegant red with fruit reminiscent of bing cherries and blueberries. We are looking forward to fermenting another vintage soon and we will do a preview barrel tasting at our annual Open House March 15th & 16th, 2008.
Cedar Creek Vidal is the grand jewel of Cedar Creek Winery wines…this fine wine of ours has been raking in the medals. A Double-Gold medal and 7 Gold Medals, 6 Silver and 4 Bronze in national and international competitions. Cedar Creek Vidal is custom grown in New York state, picked according to our parameters, these parameters (sugar, acid and pH) are adjusted every year based on the growing season. Jewelry Works: Jewelry Works has a new venture, Cedar Creek Mining Company… “Mine your own gemstones”. A customer can pick a bag with sand in it and the gemstones are hidden in the sand. As it is sifted in the sifter, beautiful gemstones appear; 10-20 per bag. Bags are priced at $5.00 and up. The more expensive the bag, the more expensive the gemstones. These are ready to set gemstones which the customer can have set at Jewelry Works in sterling silver or 14K gold. Lots of fun! Great for kids of all ages and adults as well.
